Taste of Asia - Vietnam Street Food 

Welcome to Taste of Asia - a funny fast paced action game that will bring you back into the fun and exciting street food journey of Asia !

Core mechanics

Actions

The experience focuses on the thrill and excitement of selling in the streets of Vietnam. Player will only need to use their mouse/ finger to control the vendor for these following actions:

• Run
• Station
• Work on food
• Deliver food

Player’s goal is to make as much profit as possible while staying out of the guard of street police or gangsters. The joy of making money while watching out for these enemies will keep players constantly off their toes. 

Selling

Selling food requires the main condition: the vehicle needs to be stationed and there is a customer ordering food. Player needs to constantly tap on the vehicle to fill up the food preparing bar. Once it is filled, players can now tap on the customer to earn profit.

Escaping

Running is the most exciting part of this game. You will need to understand the street and your own speed in order to outrun the law. Does not matter what action you are having, there is always a lit up run button that can be used at any moment. This means that you can leave everything behind and run for that sweet freedom. 

Customers

Customers are the nearby citizens that come and buy your food automatically. Depending on what kind of buildings are around you, your customers can consist of students, office workers, moms, grandpas, public servants and some rare occasions celebrities ! 

The more rare and generous the customer, the higher chance you will receive a collectible gift that reminds you of them.

Buildings 

The buildings on the streets will define what customers and enemies will spawn:

• Stores
• Schools
• Residential houses
• Residential buildings
• Office buildings

Enemies  

These are the ones that remind you of the order of the society. There are three different kind of enemies depends on the level:

• Street gangster: can be found at around stores. Slow and unaware.
• Street police: can be found anywhere, especially around schools. The more generous patrons there are, the more it will be filled with street police. Slow but focus
• Security guard: can be found around office spaces and fancy streets, higher chance of celebrity will show up. Super fast and focus

Player progression:

Vendors 

The vendor starting out will have only their smile equipped, with the more profit they make, they can equip better outfit upgrades like apron or hat. 

Vehicles

Rank 1: A traditional carrier that requires vendor to lift it while running

• Run and station take 1 extra step
• Extremely low speed 

Rank 2: A cart with tiny wheels, a little heavy to push

• Run and station take no steps
• Low speed

Rank 3: A tricycle pushing the cart forward

• Run and station take 1 extra step
• Medium speed

Rank 4: Best option as a street vendor, the cart is attached to a bootleg moped

• Run and station takes 1 extra step
• Very fast speed
